Camp site

Once upon a time there was a field of apple trees laid on the hills near Cuneo...today this sunny high ground hosts the Camping Il Melo. It perfectly matches with its natural environment at 640 mt above sea level, waiting you at walking distance from the town of Peveragno, at the foot of the Bisalta, a mountain 2400 mt high. Here it's a place where you can find peace and relax and enjoy the walking in nature. In fact the camping is the perfect point of departure to reach the natural parks of the area, the thermal baths and the near ski stations such as Lurisia, Prato Nevoso, Artesina and Limone Piemonte.

Services

The large grass-grown camping places have a 1300 Watt current-tap. The toilet-shower building is warmed up in winter and divided into men/women's rooms with showers (hot water), toilets and wash-basins; there's also a dishwashing-room and a laundry-room with a washing-machine and wash-basins. There are two chemical toilet drains and a bathroom equipped for disabled people. A grass play ground for children, a small area for pick-nick with fridge/freezer at disposal and a barbecue complete the facilities of the camping. In the parking of the near sport centre there is a free camper service area to fill and waste waters.

Organization

The Reception is open from 9,00 a.m. to 12,30 p.m and from 3 p.m to 7,30 p.m.

After the check-in every camper will have a rechargeable electronic key available, by means of which he can use hot showers, the washing machine, ironing as well as open the main gate and the small one.

At your disposal in Reception the touristic informations about the surroundings, the free internet connection, the service of mail and fax.

Sport activities

The swimming pool with the small sunbathing area is at your disposal for free in the summer time (it is necessary to wear a bath cup). It is possible to rent a bicycle to discover the surrounding landscapes.
Next to the camping, there is the "Centro Polisportivo Comunale", a sport centre with different sports fields where you can play football and tennis, as well as basket, beach volley, fistball and bowls and a heated gym duly equipped for several sports disciplines. As well as that, near our camping there is a snack bar-pizzeria.
